Citrus Love Affair

electric impulses shooting up and down,
with citrus obstructions near and around,
cautiously watching, waiting a senseless moment,
to intensify the logically disabled thinking box.
  
the moment, reckless like lovers parting night,
open to opportunities, like an agent views the sunrise,
passion growing, electric energy and stormy reflexes,
so fast, to draw feathers off a flickering wild bird.

cross stood she. a million miles approximately,
could see the future our life in that mere +5 sight.
one step forward. two steps backwards.
each seemed like an endless voyage.

oddly tucking in my oddly tucked out shirt,
running fingers though my hair; maybe the last time,
her loss could bald me faster than the Sargent's saloon.
maybe i'd pull off that bald sexy look.

it unimaginable, the charge in my body,
the sudden rush of courage,
