An open letter

Fellow members,

I know no matter how many times I apologize, the fact that I have neglected this community cannot be forgiven. This community was created four years ago with the aim of uniting deviants who want to share, discover and learn about India and its art.

We did achieve a fair amount of success, but along the way we have faced numerous hurdles in the form of discontent, disagreements and parting of some of our dearest friends and supporters who had helped us out in keeping this community alive and kicking, the way you might remember it fondly.

At this very moment, there are just two of us, ~Faera and myself, ~iamlame who have been handling this community for several months. However, as both of us are pursuing higher education, we are usually loaded with a lot of course work at all times. We unfortunately do not even get time to come on deviantART let alone everyday, but even once a week.

This place has been inactive for a long, long time due to the above stated reasons. We are short on staff, and we require volunteers who can help us out with managing the community.

We require deviants who are:

Enthusiastic
Online, and on deviantART atleast thrice a week
Share a passion for art
Willing to help us out, in any way they can

A big thank you to everyone who is still around, in hopes that this community will not face a certain silent death. I assure you it won't. Definitely not after four years.

Introducing: Features Magazine

For a couple of months, we have been toying with the idea of a monthly magazine, keeping in mind the suggestions and criticism we have received for our submission policy. Finally, we have decided to shift to the magazine format of submission.

We will be releasing issues once every 30 or 45 days. Every issue will comprise of articles, tutorials, and of course deviations.

We will be accepting submissions for the magazine during a particular week of every month.

The first issue is tentatively set to launch in January. Deviants interested in having their works featured, or who would like to contribute with content can mail me at pandya(dot)aditya(at)gmail(dot)com. Hope to receive generous contributions from our members. Additionally, those who are interested in helping out with the magazine may also email me.

Will update once we get more news about the Magazine launch.
